Terms and Conditions

The full participation terms of the 72nd JNF Lottery: from registration and payment to the draw on 15 December 2026 and the payout of all 150 prizes.

These terms and conditions apply to participation in the 72nd JNF Lottery, organised by Stichting Joods Nationaal Fonds (JNF Nederland). By buying tickets you declare that you have read and accept these terms.

Article 1 — Definitions

  • Organiser: Stichting Joods Nationaal Fonds (JNF Nederland), established at Van Leijenberghlaan 197D, 1082 GG Amsterdam, registered in the Commercial Register under KvK number 41200972 (establishment number 000000105139, RSIN/ANBI 002955659), holder of licence 25110 for a one-off lottery, valid from 24 June to 16 December 2026, under the supervision of the Netherlands Gaming Authority (KSA).
  • Participant: the natural person aged 18 or older, resident in the Netherlands, who has bought one or more tickets in accordance with these terms.
  • Ticket: a uniquely numbered proof of participation in the lottery, priced at € 10 each.
  • Draw: the determination of the winning ticket numbers on 15 December 2026 at 20:00 CET, using a certified Random Number Generator and under independent supervision.
  • Website: jnfloterijactie.nl, the official sales and information channel of the lottery.

Article 2 — Participation

  • Participation is open exclusively to natural persons aged 18 and older who reside in the Netherlands.
  • One account per person is permitted. Multiple accounts belonging to the same person may be blocked.
  • Employees of JNF Nederland and members of their household are excluded from participation.
  • Acceptance of these terms and conditions is required in order to take part.
  • Age is verified on the basis of the date of birth provided at registration. The organiser may request additional proof.
  • The organiser reserves the right to refuse a participation without stating reasons, for example on suspicion of fraud or non-compliance with these terms.

Article 3 — Tickets and price per ticket

  • The price per ticket is € 10 (including any taxes due).
  • A maximum of 500 tickets applies per person.
  • Ticket sales run from 15 July to 14 December 2026, 23:59.
  • Once payment has been received, the unique ticket numbers are sent to the participant by email. This email serves as proof of participation.

Article 4 — Payment

  • Payment is possible via iDEAL, credit card (Visa/Mastercard), PayPal and bank transfer. All amounts are stated in euros (EUR).
  • For a bank transfer, the participant receives a unique payment code that must be quoted with the transfer.
  • Participation is established at the moment the full amount has been debited and received by the organiser.
  • In the event of a failed, reversed or unassignable payment, no participation is established.
  • The organiser charges no additional fees for the use of a payment method.

Refund policy: if the lottery is cancelled by the organiser, the full stake is refunded. Tickets are excluded from the right of withdrawal once participation in the draw is confirmed, in accordance with Article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code.

Article 5 — The draw

  • The draw takes place on 15 December 2026 at 20:00 CET.
  • All 150 prizes are drawn in a single draw.
  • The winning ticket numbers are determined using a certified Random Number Generator, under independent supervision.
  • The draw is broadcast live; the results are published on the website afterwards.
  • This is followed by a bonus draw of 5 additional flight tickets to Israel.

Article 6 — Odds of winning

Every ticket sold has an equal chance of any prize. The chance of winning depends on the total number of tickets sold and can therefore not be guaranteed or stated exactly in advance. Participation offers no guarantee of winning whatsoever.

Article 7 — Prizes and payout

  • Winners are notified personally within 48 hours of the draw by email and, if provided, by phone.
  • Prizes are awarded within 30 days of the draw, in consultation with the winner.
  • The method of delivery depends on the type of prize: trips and flight tickets are provided as a voucher or booking; physical prizes are shipped or handed over.
  • Prizes are not exchangeable for cash, unless the organiser expressly offers this.
  • For prizes with a value above € 2,500, the organiser carries out an identity check (KYC) before payout is made.
  • Gambling tax is due on prizes with a value above € 449; this is paid by the organiser, so that the winner receives the prize net.
  • If a winner cannot be reached, the organiser makes reasonable efforts over a reasonable period to contact the winner. If the winner remains unreachable thereafter, the prize lapses to the good cause after 6 months.

Article 8 — Allocation of the proceeds

The proceeds of the lottery are allocated as follows:

  • 75% — expansion of Lahav Farm in the Negev (good cause);
  • 15% — prize pool (150 prizes and the bonus draw);
  • 10% — operating and administrative costs.

The organisation accounts for the allocation in the annual report of the foundation. Annual reports and auditor's statements are available on request.

Article 9 — Blocking and exclusion

  • The organiser may block an account and declare participation invalid in cases of fraud, manipulation, the creation of multiple accounts or minority of the participant.
  • The participant concerned receives a notification of the block together with the reason for it.
  • In the event of a block due to minority, the stake is fully refunded.

Article 10 — Liability

  • The organiser is not liable for any damage arising from participation in the lottery, except in the case of intent or gross negligence on the part of the organiser. Any liability is limited to the amount of the stake of the participant concerned.
  • The organiser is not liable for failures of the website, payment systems or email delivery beyond its reasonable control.
  • In the event of force majeure, the organiser may modify, suspend or cancel the lottery. A modification or cancellation is reported to the Netherlands Gaming Authority (KSA) and published on the website; in the event of cancellation, the stake is refunded in full.

Article 11 — Personal data

The privacy statement of the organiser applies to the processing of personal data in connection with this lottery. It sets out, among other things, which data are processed, how long they are retained and which rights you have under the GDPR.

Article 12 — Applicable law and disputes

  • These terms and participation in the lottery are governed exclusively by Dutch law.
  • Complaints should first be submitted to the organiser via info@jnfloterijactie.nl or by post (Stichting JNF, Antwoordnummer 47200, 1070 VC Amsterdam). The organiser aims to provide a substantive response within 30 days.
  • Disputes that cannot be resolved by mutual agreement are submitted to the competent court of the Amsterdam District Court.
  • The lottery is under the supervision of the Netherlands Gaming Authority (KSA); you can also contact the KSA with concerns about games of chance.
